Belgian Gaming Authority Adds Four More Sites to Prohibited List

The Belgian Gaming Authority has included four more web addresses on its list of prohibited online gaming sites.

The Belgian regulatory body has added four online gambling houses to its prohibited gambling list. These gambling houses are: PH.casino run by Usoftgaming, Locowin.com owned by Gammix, Kajot-Casino.com by Pro Xenon Mediathek, and Westcasino.com by Goldwin.

The banned list was initially released in February 2012 and contains websites that are deemed to be operating illicitly in Belgium without the required permits.

Operators who continue to run unlicensed gambling sites face penalties ranging from €100 ($85.91/£119.20) to €100,000. Gamblers who wager on these sites may also face criminal charges and fines ranging from €26 to €25,000.

In April of this year, the commission also added Dixcasino.com, Gamdom.com, Stake.com, and Fastpay-casino.com to the banned list. This follows the addition of 15 web addresses to the list in March.

Other brands that appear on the prohibited list include William Hill, Bet365, Betfair, Betvictor, Winamax, and 1xBet.
