Serbian Consortium Wins Bid to Operate Kyrgyzstan National Lottery

A group from Serbia has secured the opportunity to manage the national lottery in Kyrgyzstan. This alliance, comprising Elbet d.o.o, a technology firm focused on gaming software, and Axel Capital Management, an investment fund, received the authorization following a rigorous selection procedure initiated in October 2021.

Elbet d.o.o. possesses a solid history in the field, collaborating with more than 80 operators globally, encompassing four other state lotteries. They are recognized for their online gaming platforms, including simulated sports and casino offerings. Axel Capital Management, established by Anna Nikolayevsky, contributes its financial acumen, having cultivated a standing for pinpointing profitable investment prospects across a wide array of international sectors.

Although the selection panel has determined the successful applicant, the National Lottery Company of Kyrgyzstan must still formally execute the contract with the consortium. This constitutes the last action before the group can formally commence its operations within Kyrgyzstan.

Nikolaevskiy developed his critical thinking abilities at the renowned investment company, Zweig-DiMenna. His previous experience includes a role within the asset management department of Goldman Sachs.
