The Cordish Gaming Group has designated Jamie Williams as Sales Lead for their forthcoming Live! Casino & Hotel situated in Louisiana. In this capacity, Williams will spearhead sales initiatives for the $270 million establishment, poised to become a premier destination within the Shreveport-Bossier region upon its debut in early 2025.
The 550-key hotel will boast a 25,000 square foot event complex, already accepting bookings for gatherings and functions. This complex encompasses a grand ballroom, partitioned meeting spaces, a pre-function zone, a boardroom, and a stage, all complemented by cutting-edge audiovisual infrastructure.
Live! Casino & Hotel will hold the distinction of being the inaugural land-based casino in the Shreveport-Bossier market and the first Live!-branded property within Louisiana. The endeavor commenced construction in December 2023 at the location previously occupied by the Diamond Jacks Casino & Hotel.
Projections indicate the project will yield $35 million in gaming-related tax revenue for the City of Bossier City and $168 million in tax revenue for the State of Louisiana within its initial five years of operation. Furthermore, the project is anticipated to generate approximately 750 construction positions and 750 permanent employment opportunities.
Williams will provide leadership to a seasoned group of sales and event specialists in her new position.

This advancement follows Cordish Company’s purchase of Diamond Jacks Casino in the fourth month of 2023, a calculated maneuver to strengthen the Live! brand’s footprint in the South Central and Southeastern regions of the United States. Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana is poised to be a leading entertainment destination, showcasing over 47,000 square feet of gaming area, encompassing 1,000 slot machines, digital table games, live table games, and a designated sports wagering section. The establishment will also present a vast 30,000 square feet of space allocated for dining and entertainment purposes.
