Betway Serves Up New Sponsorship Deal With European Open

Betway has broadened its footprint in the tennis realm by securing the latest sponsorship of the European Open. This competition, the sole ATP tournament in Belgium, represents a significant addition to Betway’s expanding collection of tennis endorsements, which already encompasses collaborations with several other notable tournaments.

Betway’s CEO, Anthony Werkman, conveyed excitement regarding the alliance, underscoring the European Open’s remarkable history of drawing renowned players despite its relatively brief existence. Werkman emphasized Betway’s dedication to fostering the tournament’s expansion and assisting in solidifying its position as a premier event on the ATP circuit.

This recent sponsorship agreement is merely one of numerous for Betway this year, showcasing the company’s robust commitment to tennis. They are already affiliated with other well-regarded tournaments such as the Generali Open, the Miami Open, and the Mercedes Cup. Earlier this year, they assumed the role of official sponsor for the Nordea Open in Sweden and subsequently revealed their sponsorship of the Hamburg Open, further cementing their presence within the world of tennis.

Through this latest partnership, Betway seeks to reiterate its dedication to championing top-tier sporting events worldwide.

Since its inception in 2016, we’ve been diligently striving to enhance the European Open year after year,” remarked Juan de Dios Aguirre, a partner at Tennium, the organization responsible for owning and managing the tournament. “Our objective is to provide our spectators with an exceptional experience, and this new collaboration with a leading industry player is integral to achieving that.” He stressed that the alliance complies with all relevant industry standards.

Held in Antwerp from October 19th to 25th, the competition unfolds on hard courts and consistently draws some of tennis’s most prominent figures. This year, past champions such as Andy Murray, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, and Kyle Edmund will vie for the championship over six days of fierce rivalry.
