The FBM Foundation recently initiated a novel educational endeavor in the Philippines entitled “Champions for Champions.” Concentrating on the young people of the Rizal region, the project commenced last week in Tanay City. This represents the inaugural event in a series of planned activities, some of which experienced delays due to the global health crisis. The objective of “Champions for Champions” is to deliver essential scholastic aid in the wake of the severe consequences inflicted by COVID-19 on Filipino pupils. The FBM Foundation emphasized its dedication to enhancing learning environments for these students throughout 2023 and beyond. They perceive this as a vital measure in ensuring a more promising future for the next generation. The initial event, arranged to correspond with International Education Day on January 24th, took place at the Mateo Capinpin Elementary School. More than 600 students obtained support during the event. The FBM Foundation intends to conduct supplementary events over the course of the year, with the subsequent ones slated for April, August, and November. The program will maintain its focus on young individuals confronting social and financial adversity.
Learning has consistently been paramount in conquering challenges,” stressed VĂtor Francisco, a leader at the FBM Foundation. “Unfortunately, it’s frequently neglected in numerous populations.” He continued, “Should any opportunity arise for the FBM Foundation to aid these groups, we are wholly dedicated to taking action and propelling genuine transformation in schooling. That’s a pledge we plan to uphold.”
