Poker Tournaments and Series Updates

Americas Cardroom (ACR) is pulling out all the stops for Chris Moneymaker’s upcoming poker competition in Aruba this October! They’re promising a minimum of 20 entries to the primary event, boasting an impressive $200,000 prize fund. Players can secure their spot through online qualifying tournaments, eliminating the need to spend a fortune.

For the uninitiated, Chris Moneymaker is a poker icon. He triumphed in the World Series of Poker Main Event back in 2003 and currently represents ACR as a professional. His recent performance has been nothing short of stellar, securing sixth place in ACR’s Venom tournament for a hefty $382,007 and following that up with a victory at a Triton event in Montenegro, netting him nearly a million dollars!

Moneymaker expressed enthusiasm for the Aruba tournament and gratitude for ACR’s backing. He eagerly anticipates meeting fellow players there.

Americas Cardroom Poker presents weekly qualifier tournaments each Sunday evening at 6:05 PM Eastern Time. These qualifiers require a $109 buy-in and offer participants an opportunity to secure a $1,500 prize package to an upcoming “Championship Event” in their renowned “Millionaire Maker” tournament series.

In April, Americas Cardroom Poker unveiled their highly anticipated “High Roller Adventure” series. The next destination on this lavish poker circuit is Montenegro, succeeding successful gatherings in London and Monte Carlo. The Montenegro games take place from May 12th to the 26th, and ACR is conducting a special “Main Qualifier” on April 28th that guarantees two fortunate players a package valued at six figures! The package encompasses entry into a $110,000 Super High Roller event, business class flights, and five-star lodging.

Not to be overshadowed, GGPoker is generating excitement with their announcement of the “Global Festival Tournament.” This colossal online series boasts an astounding $250 million in guaranteed prize funds and will span from May 5th to June 11th.
