Aristocrat Leisure, a technology firm specializing in gaming, has named Bill Lance to its governing body. Mr. Lance brings a wealth of knowledge about the gaming sector and tribal affairs to the position.
Mr. Lance held the Secretary of Commerce role for the Chickasaw Nation, a prominent Native American tribe located in Oklahoma, for an unprecedented period. His responsibilities included overseeing the tribe’s varied business holdings, which encompassed casinos, hospitality, and media ventures. He continues to serve as an Ambassador at Large for the Chickasaw Nation, representing their interests both domestically and internationally, even after concluding his tenure as Secretary.
His proficiency extends beyond tribal governance. He holds directorships with Chickasaw Nation Businesses and BancFirst Corporation, a publicly traded financial institution listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange. His professional background also includes positions with the University of Oklahoma Foundation and the Oklahoma Department of Commerce.
