The Casumo Corporation has opted to cease providing its offerings within the Dutch market. This choice stems from revised regulations implemented by the Netherlands’ gaming regulatory body, the KSA. Previously this year, the KSA unveiled a fresh licensing framework for internet gaming entities aiming to function legitimately within the Netherlands. Although numerous firms submitted applications, a mere ten will be awarded licenses commencing on October 1st, 2021. The Casumo Corporation will discontinue providing services to Dutch patrons from that date onward. The KSA has firmly stated its intention to take stringent action against businesses attempting to furnish gambling services unlawfully. They have already imposed a substantial penalty on one Malta-based provider. The KSA stressed that solely entities fulfilling their rigorous standards for ethical gaming conduct would be considered for licenses. Their objective is to guarantee that players within the Netherlands possess access to secure and lawful online gaming choices.
For the time being, Casumo is withdrawing from the Dutch market. They are dedicated to adhering to Netherlands gaming regulations, and this action is a step towards getting everything ready for a license request. The company aims to be completely up and running in the Netherlands sometime in 2022.
